Trying to catch up

Well it's been forever since I've posted anything so I'll try and catch up here in the next few days. I will spread it out a little to give everyone something new to read every few days. So here goes, the first of many posts...

The Frock's said...: Okay way to leave us hanging, you said you were going to catch up and then nothing since Friday - we are waiting with baited breath!LOL Hope to meet you this summer, probably in July I am assuming if you don't want to spend the whole trip at the ball fields, lol. Kids say the cutest things

2/20/09 - Caleb climbed pretty high up in the orange tree next door. When I asked him if he needed help getting down he said "No, I just have to think my way down."

12/26 - Kyle (to Chris while he's sweeping): Kyle was playing with the laser pointer and pointed it in the middle of Chris's pile and said "Daddy can you broom this up"

12/2 - Kyle and Caleb are going to be in a Christmas program for preschool next week so at dinner last night I asked the boys if they knew their line. Here's how the conversation went.
Mom: So boys do you know you line for the Christmas program?
Kyle (with great confidence): Yes, "There is no room for our wine."
Mom (trying hard not to laugh): What!?!
Kyle: "There is no room for our wine"
Mom (now laughing hysterically): I think it is "There is no room in the inn."
Kyle: Yeah, that's it!

Caleb doesn't have any self-esteem issues. He told me the other day "I know everything and I'm always right!".

10/16 - Kyle was sick and missed a whole week of school. When we went to pick up Caleb on Thursday the following conversation took place.
Mom: So Caleb, what letter did you learn about at school this week?
Caleb: The letter H, except there were all these presents and I don't know why
Mom: The letter H huh?
Caleb: Yep.
Kyle (with a hint of frustration in his voice): Caleb, those are gifts and it's the letter G. (this from the kid who didn't go to school all week)

8/30 - Kyle & Caleb were sitting next to each other at the bar at Aunt Laurie's house when they had this conversation.
Kyle: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Caleb: Yep!!

8/28 - I was telling Kyle & Caleb that we were going to a play date the next morning. Kyle said "What's a play date? Is it like a date with a girl or something?"

8/28 - We have a church by us that has a bell tower with a cross on top. As we were watching the lighting last night I said to Chris and Seth "I wonder what keeps the lighting from striking that cross" to which Seth replied "God".

5/12 - I was teaching Eryn to say thank you in sign language. I told Kyle & Caleb that they used to use sign language but Kyle said, "I did not, but when I was an alien I used to speak Spanish!"

4/18 - This is a conversation between me & Seth:
Seth: Where are you going?
Mom : I'm going over to Auntie's to watch a movie.
Seth: Which one?
Mom: Juno
Seth: How should I know which one. I didn't talk with Auntie.

4/13 - At Sonic Kyle went over and sat next to Caleb and said, "I'm going to sit with my own best friend"
